Councilor Brian Cooper
Councilor Cooper was previously appointed to the Fairview city council in 2012 to fulfill a portion of the remaining term vacated by his father, Larry Cooper, after his passing. Councilor Cooper was elected in 2015 to serve a four year term. His term expires on December 31, 2018.

Background & Education
Councilor Cooper is a lifelong east county resident and graduate of Reynolds High School class of 1989. He is the owner of Cooper Tractor and Equipment and Quality Diesel Parts.  A Family run business with Oregon roots stretching back to 1917. "We serve the Construction, Transportation and Logging Industries."  

In 2013, Councilor Cooper founded the Friends of Fairview.  A local civic group which started with the primary goal of assuming the management of Fairview’s signature summer event Fairview on the Green.  Friends of Fairview has gone on to Adopt a road, Adopt a creek, organized litter walks, SOLV events,  Earth Day clean ups, neighborhood meetings and miscellaneous volunteering.
